Who Am I?

My name is Robert Berlin and my career spans 35+ years in product marketing and product management with cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and SaaS companies. As a recognized expert in product marketing strategy and content creation, I have led marketing departments in start-ups and large enterprises, including Cisco Systems, Dell-EMC and Akamai Technologies. As Director of Cyber Security Product Management and Product Marketing at Cisco, I helped grow their security business to over one billion dollars. I later expanded Cisco’s consumer business to Europe and Asia-Pacific. Recently, I was the Head of Marketing for Soha Systems, acquired by Akamai Technologies in 2016 and Vice-President of Rafay Systems, a Kubernetes management company. I now lead this consultancy providing strategy, content, and other marketing services to B2B and B2C companies.
